What: A series of customer programs that kickstarted Matillion’s customer advocacy program.

Why: Matillion struggled to find momentum with its customer marketing initiatives due to a lack of efficiency in reaching out to customers and harnessing their stories. Existing collection of case studies was small and not effective in articulating the “Why” and “So What” of the product.

The Approach: Overhaul the process of customer outreach for stories, the structure and tone of the stories themselves, and leverage engagement to develop customer champions for Matillion.

Cisco Meraki: Why Matillion

What: A series of customer and partner videos promoting Matillion as the world’s leading cloud native ETL product.

Why: Matillion had dozens of satisfied customers and partners, but it’s existing collection of written customer case studies was both sparse and not effective in articulating the “Why” and “So what” of the product.

The Approach: One room at Snowflake Summit, two days, and dozens of customer and partner interviews. Each one captured the passion for and belief in the product our customers had.
