Women in Privacy
What: An integrated marketing campaign aimed at our largest audience, women in privacy roles.
Why: Privacy is unique in that 50% of its leaders and employees are women. They face unique challenges as both privacy professionals and as women in male-dominated C-suites and security organizations. We created a privacy community at Osano just for these women to both honor them and give them a space to talk about the issues they grappled with every day.
The Approach: Establish a virtual Women in Privacy Meetup once a quarter, featuring a moderated discussion on topics ranging from new privacy laws to dating apps and privacy. Partner with Wednesday Women, a leading advocacy group for woman executives across industries, to sponsor a Women in Privacy feature and a series of regional dinners for women in privacy and security. Hosted a Women in Privacy meetup at IAPP’s largest conference.
RESULTS
Women in Privacy series with Wednesday Women increased impressions by 75% and average engagement rate by 85%
First Women in Privacy meetup exceeded registration targets by 100% and attendance target by 95%
Increased pipeline by $300,000, including two closed-won deals in the first two weeks of the campaign
